The Kria Starter Kit hardware is based on the IMX636 HD event-based vision sensor, developed through a collaboration between Prophesee and Sony. The sensor is mounted in a CCAM5 lensed module on flex, which connects to the KV260 development platform for Kria K26 SOMs. Prophesee provides software drivers and source code to support development.

The Kria KV260 Vision AI Starter Kit is an evaluation platform for the K26 SOM, designed to accelerate machine learning (ML) in vision applications. It combines a Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC-based SOM with user-selectable, vision-focused peripherals and pre-built accelerated applications. While the SOM has broad AI/ML applicability across various markets, the Kria Starter Kit is particularly suited for applications such as smart city and machine vision, security cameras, on-the-edge smart cameras, and other industrial use cases.

This integrated hardware, platform, and software combination provides developers with a seamless out-of-box experience, enabling rapid prototyping and faster time-to-market for new product designs.

    • Ultra high-speed event data output (equivalent to >10kfps time resolution) with 1μs-precision time stamping
    • 0.08 lux low-light cutoff with high dynamic range >120 dB
