Product Summary

44.72 MP CMOS sensor for consumer-grade still cameras and 8K video camcorders.

The Sony IMX366AJK is a high-resolution CMOS image sensor designed for consumer digital still cameras and camcorders. With a diagonal of 43.3 mm (Type 2.7) and an impressive 44.72 MP effective pixel count, it supports 14-bit A/D conversion for capturing fine image detail. It integrates a 27 dB PGA circuit and supports fast readout at 26.15 fps in still mode and 12-bit high-speed readout for 8K video capture. The sensor delivers exceptional image quality and performance for high-end imaging devices and is optimized for consumer-grade applications. Although designed primarily for consumer cameras, its capabilities may benefit prototype imaging systems where 8K video and ultra-high-resolution still capture are required. It is not recommended for non-consumer uses due to warranty and support limitations from Sony.
