The Sony IMX472-AAJK-ES provides a 21.46 MP RGB sensor with 120 fps readout, designed for consumer digital cameras.

The Sony IMX472-AAJK-ES is a high-performance CMOS image sensor designed primarily for consumer digital still cameras. With a diagonal size of 21.77 mm (Type 4/3) and a resolution of 21.46 megapixels, this sensor features a square pixel array, delivering detailed and high-quality images. It is ideal for applications that require precise image capture, such as digital photography, where resolution and image fidelity are critical.

The sensor is equipped with a 12-bit A/D converter and a maximum 27 dB PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier), ensuring excellent dynamic range and accurate signal processing. The 12-bit digital output enables the sensor to capture 20.89 million active pixels at an impressive speed of 120 frames per second (fps) in still picture mode, making it highly suitable for high-speed imaging applications within the consumer camera market.

The IMX472-AAJK-ES’s pixel size of 3.3 x 3.3 µm enhances light sensitivity, ensuring optimal image quality across various lighting conditions.
