Product Overview

The IMX253LLR-C is a high-resolution 12.37 MP monochrome CMOS sensor with a global shutter, optimized for high-speed industrial imaging applications.

The Sony Pregius IMX253LLR-C is a 12.37 MP monochrome global shutter CMOS image sensor, designed for industrial applications requiring high-resolution and high-speed imaging. Featuring a diagonal 17.5 mm (Type 1.1) optical size and a 3.45 µm pixel, this sensor offers superior image quality with minimal distortion. With a maximum frame rate of 68.3 fps, it is ideal for high-speed imaging in applications such as Factory Automation, Machine Vision, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The IMX253LLR-C supports an ROI (Region of Interest) mode, allowing users to crop only the required region for data output, further enhancing efficiency in machine vision applications. Additionally, the sensor supports an external trigger mode for precise control over charge-integration time, enabling accurate capture of dynamic scenes. Operating with triple power supplies (analog 3.3 V, digital 1.2 V, and interface 1.8 V), this sensor ensures low power consumption while delivering high sensitivity and low dark current characteristics, even in low-light environments.
