Product Summary

An 8 MP wide-angle lens designed for infrared-sensitive applications with no IR-cut filter, suitable for 1″ sensors and 4K imaging.

The Sunex DSL592A-NIR-F2.9 is a wide-angle lens designed for 1-inch sensors, supporting up to 8 megapixels of resolution. With an effective focal length of 5.87mm and an F/2.9 aperture, this lens provides bright, high-resolution images, even in low-light environments. Unlike its IR-cut counterpart, this model lacks an IR cutoff filter, making it ideal for applications requiring sensitivity to infrared light, such as night-vision, scientific imaging, and infrared surveillance. The M20 x 0.35 threaded barrel ensures robust mounting, while the large image circle of 16mm allows for full coverage of 1" sensors, making it an excellent choice for 4K and infrared-sensitive applications.
