Product Summary

The FFA-GMSL-Des-V2A adapter offers seamless conversion of GMSL input to MIPI CSI-2 output, perfect for automotive and industrial applications.

The GMSL FRAMOS Functional Adapter (FFS) “Deserializer” converts a GMSL input stream to a PixelMate™ compliant MIPI CSI-2 output, receiving up to 12 Gbit/s while also supporting the lower 6 Gbit/s baud grade. This technology provides an extension to the PixelMate™ interface, integrating seamlessly into the existing FRAMOS Sensor Module (FSM) Ecosystem, and is available as an alternative option from the standard, shorter flex cable. This adapter comes equipped with an industry proven FAKRA connector, widely used within the automotive industry for its robust design. The Deserializer requires an external power connection.

The GMSL solution from FRAMOS provides full GMSL data bandwidth of 12 Gbps at lengths of up to 14 m and is also compatible with GMSL Serializers at maximum 6 Gbps / 15m. The modular design can be seamlessly integrated into any application and is fully compatible with other FRAMOS Sensor Module Ecosystem components or customized to suit any your specific project requirements.
