Product Overview

The FSM-IMX811M/XX1_Devkit-SLVS-EC combines Sony’s 247MP IMX811 monochrome sensor with FRAMOS’ modular ecosystem, enabling fast, high-resolution image capture for advanced inspection, metrology, and scientific applications. Includes FPA, cabling, mechanics.

The monochrome version is intended for applications that rely purely on luminance information, where high detail, stable imaging performance, and consistent signal behavior are required.

Ready-to-Use 247MP Mono Sensor DevKit for RGB Sensor Integration

The FSM-IMX811M/XX1_Devkit-SLVS-EC is FRAMOS' end-to-end reference platform to evaluate, integrate, and accelerate imaging solution development with the FSM-IMX811 Sensor Module. Featuring Sony’s eponymous super high-resolution large format sensor, it’s designed by FRAMOS for professional engineers to minimize integration risk and shortening development time while ensuring top-tier image quality.

Included FSM-IMX811 Sensor Module

The included FSM-IMX811 sensor module offers a high-performance imaging solution using Sony’s IMX811 high-resolution large format image sensor in a proven design, providing the full native resolution of 247 MP and an optical format of 4.1-inch. The pixel size of 2.81 x 2.81 µm ensures high-quality imaging with excellent light sensitivity and dynamic range, making the sensor module suitable for a range of industries and applications including industrial metrology, large-format scientific imaging/ bioscience, high-resolution inspection such as wafer inspection or defect detection (automated optical inspection, AOI).

Reference Design and FPGA Integration

Prototyping on AMD ZCU102

Coming with a dedicated reference design, engineers can quickly prototype on the AMD evaluation platform ZCU102:
The reference design serves as a known-good starting point for high-resolution imaging workflows, reducing the time required to bring up a functional SLVS-EC imaging pipeline.

Ready-to-Use FPGA Design

Ready-to-use FPGA design for integration into your own firmware and verification of hardware functionality (streaming test).
This shortens the bring-up phase for teams evaluating 247 MP capture workflows on FPGA platforms.

FRAMOS IP Source Files

Source files provided for FRAMOS IP (except SLVS-EC RX IP Core), incl. Sensor Initialization and Timing & Control allowing engineers to adapt timing, exposure control, and initialization sequences directly to their own systems.

SLVS-EC RX IP Core License

Includes SLVS-EC RX IP Core v3.0 Evaluation License.
This evaluation license allows immediate testing of SLVS-EC 3.0 data reception without separate licensing steps, making early development more efficient.

Documentation Package

Comprehensive Documentation (hardware and interface references, fully described reference design, 3D models and FPA schematics).

The ideal blueprint for custom firmware development!
