Product Overview

Complete starter kit with IP65-rated RealSense™ D456 Depth Camera, cable, and tripod for robust and accurate 3D vision in industrial environments.

The  RealSense™ Depth Camera D456 Starter Kit is a complete depth-sensing solution for professionals requiring precise 3D data capture in rugged environments. The kit includes the  RealSense™ D456 camera, a cable, and a tripod for convenient setup. The D456 camera comes in an IP65-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust and water, making it ideal for outdoor use and industrial applications. Equipped with wide field of view depth sensors and a global shutter RGB sensor, the D456 ensures precise 3D data capture with a wider baseline for improved depth (Z) error at longer ranges. Both the RGB and depth sensors have an 86° field of view (FOV), providing accurate correspondence between depth and RGB images. The camera’s durable construction and accurate depth-sensing capabilities make it an ideal solution for robotics, 3D scanning, and industrial automation where environmental durability is essential.

Key Features:

  • IP65-Rated Enclosure: Dust-tight and protected from water, suitable for harsh environments.
  • Wide Field of View Depth Sensors: 86° FOV for both depth and RGB sensors.
  • Enhanced Depth Accuracy: Improved depth (Z) error at long ranges with a wider baseline.
  • Global Shutter RGB Sensor: Ensures accurate image matching with the depth sensor.
  • USB 3.1 Powered: Reliable and fast data transfer for real-time applications.

Technical Specifications:

  • Package: Starter Kit (includes camera, cable, and tripod)
  • Mount Type: USB 3.1
  • Sensors: Global shutter RGB, wide FOV depth sensors
  • Enclosure Rating: IP65
  • Field of View: 86°
  • Other Features: IMU, All-Pass

The RealSense™ D456 Starter Kit provides a robust and comprehensive depth-sensing solution for applications requiring precise 3D capture in rugged environments.
