Product Overview

USB-powered RealSense™ Depth Camera D456 with IP65 enclosure, wide field of view, and global shutter RGB sensor for accurate and durable 3D vision.

The RealSense™ Depth Camera D456 (Camera Only) is a robust, high-performance depth-sensing solution with an IP65-rated enclosure that is dust-tight and water-resistant. Powered via USB3.1, this camera features wide field of view depth sensors and a global shutter RGB sensor for accurate 3D data capture. The D456’s wider baseline provides better depth accuracy at long ranges, improving depth (Z) error over distances. The RGB sensor is matched to the depth sensor with both having an 86° field of view (FOV), ensuring precise correspondence between the RGB and depth images. The IP65 enclosure makes it ideal for use in challenging environments where dust and water exposure could otherwise affect performance. This makes the D456 an excellent choice for applications such as outdoor robotics, industrial automation, and 3D scanning where durability and accuracy are paramount.

Key Features:

  • Durable IP65 Enclosure: Protects against dust and water for reliable performance in harsh environments.
  • Wide Field of View Depth Sensors: 86° FOV for both depth and RGB sensors.
  • Enhanced Depth Accuracy: Improved depth (Z) error at longer distances due to a wider baseline.
  • Global Shutter RGB Sensor: Ensures precise image matching with the depth sensor.
  • USB 3.1 Powered: Offers fast and reliable data transmission.

Technical Specifications:

  • Package: Camera Only
  • Mount Type: USB 3.1
  • Sensors: Global shutter RGB, wide FOV depth sensors
  • Enclosure Rating: IP65
  • Field of View: 86°
  • Other Features: IMU, All-Pass

The RealSense™ D456 provides durable and reliable 3D depth-sensing performance in challenging environments, perfect for industrial applications.
