Machine vision specialist MaVis is to become part of FRAMOS, the world’s leading expert in embedded vision systems. The integration of its subsidiary MaVis will enable FRAMOS to strengthen its expertise in the field of industrial machines with vision capabilities. In the long term, the operational merger will save costs and unlock potential, helping to strengthen the market position. Customers will benefit from the greater expertise and selection, better advice, and increased manufacturing capacity and logistical capabilities that will be available thanks to the new FRAMOS company campus. MaVis will become part of FRAMOS on December 1, 2024. All business will continue as usual until the takeover and will be continued by FRAMOS after December 1.

“The integration of MaVis is a consistent step in strengthening our capabilities in the field of machine vision. This merger will bring us a great deal closer to our goal of becoming the world’s number one in embedded vision and enabling us to provide our customers with the best possible support,” says Andreas Franz, CEO of FRAMOS.
