The Sony IMX287LQR-C is a compact CMOS image sensor designed for industrial applications that require high-speed, high-precision imaging, such as factory automation (FA) cameras. With a Type 1/2.9 format and a resolution of 0.40 megapixels (728 x 544), the IMX287 excels in delivering fast and reliable imaging performance. Its global shutter technology, part of Sony’s renowned Pregius line, ensures distortion-free image capture, even with rapidly moving objects in industrial environments.

This sensor is equipped with an industry-leading pixel size of 6.9 µm, which enhances sensitivity and reduces noise, making it suitable for low-light environments. Its low parasitic light sensitivity (PLS) and low dark current further contribute to the IMX287's ability to produce clear and accurate images, ensuring high-quality performance in demanding conditions. The sensor supports an extremely fast frame rate of 523.5 fps, making it perfect for high-speed applications such as quality control and production line monitoring.

To maintain energy efficiency, the IMX287 operates on a triple power supply system-analog 3.3V, digital 1.2V, and interface 1.8V-keeping power consumption low while providing continuous performance in rigorous environments.
