The IMX178LLJ-C is a 6.44 MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor featuring Exmor R technology, optimized for low-light security camera applications with a 60 fps frame rate.

The Sony IMX178LQJ-C is a Starvis back-illuminated CMOS sensor. It is designed for high-performance imaging in both visible and near-infrared light regions. With a diagonal size of 8.92 mm (Type 1/1.8) and a resolution of 6.44 MP (3096 x 2080), this sensor features a pixel size of 2.4 µm, ensuring high sensitivity and low noise even in low-light conditions. It is equipped with Sony’s Exmor R technology and the IMX178LQJ-C excels in producing high-quality images with minimal noise, thanks to its back-illuminated structure. This color CMOS sensor operates with a rolling shutter and can capture high-speed imaging at up to 60 fps, making it suitable for applications such as security cameras, surveillance and traffic monitoring.
