Description

This FRAMOS Sensor Module (FSM-IMX464) integrates the advanced Sony IMX464 sensor within a compact 26.5 mm x 26.5 mm form factor. As a rolling shutter sensor, it boasts a native resolution of 4.2 megapixels and an optical format of 1/1.8 inch, featuring a pixel size of 2.9 x 2.9 µm. The module is equipped with a MIPI CSI-2 interface, supporting up to four data lanes for efficient data transfer, making it suitable for high-performance imaging applications.

The FSM-IMX464 is a key component of the FRAMOS Sensor Module Ecosystem, which is designed to provide seamless integration of image sensors into embedded vision systems. This ecosystem leverages a sophisticated connectivity framework, enabling flexible compatibility with various processing platforms. The use of optional FRAMOS Sensor Adapters (FSA) allows for a standardized interface to FRAMOS Processor Adapters (FPA), facilitating connections to a variety of proprietary processing systems.

To support custom implementations, the FSM-IMX464 is backed by a standardized Software Pack that includes reference drivers for major platforms such as the NVIDIA® Jetson™ TX2, Jetson™ AGX Xavier™, and Jetson™ AGX Orin™ Development Boards. This support simplifies the integration process, ensuring that developers can quickly access the necessary tools to get their systems up and running.

Everything required to start using this module can be purchased off-the-shelf, allowing for immediate evaluation upon receipt. For those looking to experiment and develop with the FSM-IMX464, FRAMOS recommends acquiring the module along with a platform-specific Development Kit (Devkit). This kit includes all necessary components to facilitate a smooth startup and rapid testing of the imaging capabilities.

The FSM-IMX464 module is built to perform under a wide range of conditions, featuring an operational temperature range from -30°C to +85°C and humidity tolerance of up to 95%. Its robust design and compatibility with various lens mounts, including C/CS and M12 options, make it versatile for different imaging needs.

  • Compact 26.5 mm x 26.5 mm size for easy integration.
  • Native resolution of 4.2 MP with an optical format of 1/1.8 inch.
  • Supports MIPI CSI-2 interface with up to four data lanes for high-speed data transfer.
  • Part of a comprehensive ecosystem with flexible compatibility to various processing platforms.
  • Standardized software support with reference drivers for quick setup.
  • Wide operational temperature range from -30°C to +85°C.

This sensor module offers an ideal solution for applications requiring high-quality imaging in compact spaces, supporting various embedded vision tasks across multiple industries.
