Description

The Intel® RealSense™ D555 is a high-performance 3D stereo depth camera designed for rugged environments and real-time machine vision tasks. Engineered with Intel’s new Vision SoC V5 and the D450 long-range global shutter optical module, the D555 delivers enhanced accuracy, robust processing, and seamless integration via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

With an IP65-rated enclosure, the D555 operates reliably in harsh indoor and outdoor conditions. It supports up to 1280×720 depth resolution at 60 FPS, and offers an RGB stream up to 1280×800 at 60 FPS, with built-in Geometric Distortion Correction (GDC) and Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) for superior image quality.

The camera's PoE capability allows both data and power to be transmitted via a single RJ45 cable, simplifying infrastructure—ideal for robotic arms, AMRs, smart retail sensors, and restaurant automation. It supports up to 100 meters of Ethernet cable, multiple camera synchronization, and integration via Intel RealSense SDK 2.0, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.

As a distributor and vision integration expert, FRAMOS provides the technical support and system-level insight needed to successfully implement the D555 in embedded and industrial applications.
