Description

This compact HDR camera board features a high-performance Sony CMOS sensor, offering a 1.84MP resolution with dimensions of 1920 (H) x 960 (V) pixels. The sensor is mounted on a compact PCB measuring just 28.0mm x 28.0mm, making it ideal for space-constrained applications where size is critical without sacrificing image quality. Its compact design allows for easy integration into projects, as it directly connects to the Spresense main board using a simple ribbon cable.

The camera board supports versatile video output formats, including Y/C, RGB, and JPEG, providing flexibility for different video processing needs. The video data is transmitted over an 8-bit parallel interface, ensuring efficient data transfer, while command and control are managed through an I2C bus, simplifying communication between the board and the host system.

A notable feature of this board is its built-in fixed-focus lens, which offers a 50.3° field of view (FOV) with an f/2.0 aperture. This combination ensures sharp and clear imaging, making it suitable for a wide range of applications where accurate focus and clear detail are required. The lens also incorporates an IR-cut filter, which enhances color accuracy by blocking infrared light, ensuring natural and true-to-life color reproduction in visible light conditions.

  • High-quality Sony CMOS sensor with 1.84MP resolution
  • Compact 28.0mm x 28.0mm PCB for space-saving integration
  • Direct connection to Spresense main board via ribbon cable
  • Supports Y/C, RGB, and JPEG video formats
  • 8-bit parallel data interface for efficient video transmission
  • I2C bus for command and control
  • Fixed-focus lens with 50.3° FOV and f/2.0 aperture
  • IR-cut filter for improved color accuracy

With its advanced features and compact design, this camera board is an excellent choice for applications requiring high-quality imaging in a small form factor. Whether used in embedded systems, robotics, or machine vision, it delivers reliable performance and precise image capture.
