Cyberworks Robotics partnered with FRAMOS to retrofit a fleet of greenhouse tractors at Fernlea Flowers—the first deployment of its kind globally. The goal? Improve safety and efficiency while reducing labor during the COVID-19 pandemic.

By integrating Intel® RealSense™ D435i depth cameras—ruggedized and supported by FRAMOS—Cyberworks created a flexible autonomous driving solution. The system senses its environment in real time, avoids obstacles dynamically, and scales across an entire fleet using cloud-based fleet management.

Industry: Smart Agriculture & Horticulture

Supporting high-efficiency greenhouse operations with autonomous mobility and advanced sensing systems.

Application: Self-Driving Electric Tractors

Retrofit existing vehicles for autonomous path planning and obstacle avoidance inside GPS-denied greenhouse environments.

Technology Used: RealSense D435i + FRAMOS Integration

Depth sensing with FRAMOS-ruggedized Intel® RealSense™ D435i cameras and custom cabling for greenhouse conditions.

Result: Scalable, Safer Operations

Reduced staffing needs and improved distancing via cloud-based fleet control and real-time obstacle sensing.
