About the Speaker: Dr.-Ing. Moritz Roidl

Dr.-Ing. Moritz Roidl is Chief Engineer at the Chair of Materials Handling and Warehousing at TU Dortmund University and Deputy Managing Director of the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He earned his doctorate in engineering with research on swarm robotics and serves on the scientific board of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics. His work focuses on multi-robot motion planning and logistics applications of swarm robotics, with a particular interest in robotic perception in these systems.
