About the Speaker: Masaki Fukuchi

As a software engineer, engaged in the preliminary research and development of Sony’s new products equipped with image sensors. 
Specializes in the development of algorithms for Visual SLAM and 3D reconstruction, as well as system development for AR/VR and robotics.
Currently managing research and development in 3D vision sensing and overseeing activities to further expand applications of image sensors.

About the Speaker: Daniel Safari

A keen interest in numerical optimization, SLAM and SfM.
More than eight years of experience within the field – with publications in PAMI and CVPR.
Actively engaged in multiple 3D reconstruction projects within Sony.
