The sensor is the component “eye” of every vision system. FRAMOS, as a leading distributor of image sensors, maintains a long-term and close relationship with our suppliers SONY and Pyxalis. We have a variety of matrix sensors and Andon sensor sockets. Additionally, we provide evaluation boards, RDKs, and co-processors that are available in stock. The FRAMOS warehouse in Munich has been recognized by Sony as being one of their three “Excellent Warehouses”, worldwide.

Our engineering team develops proprietary technologies with our renowned sensor expertise. The FRAMOS Embedded Vision product line includes sensor modules and adapter boards for modules and processors for fast and easy development, from the prototype to serial production. Vision developers benefit from a modular approach and ready-to-use components to optimize their development cycles, resources, and time-to-market. The FRAMOS engineering team offers compatible software, image processing algorithms, and turnkey logic blocks. These logic blocks include the SLVS-EC Rx IP core for Xilinx FPGAs, in addition to SoCs and other services in cooperation with our partners Rhonda Software, and SocioNext.

Our portfolio contains standard lenses, miniature lenses, or special ruggedized versions, from the manufacturers Sunex, Fujinon, Kowa, Computar, Tamron, Schneider-Kreuznach and Moritex-Schott. Most assuredly, these lenses and filters will provide you with the optimum solution for your camera or image processing system.
