New FRAMOS Campus for enhanced production capabilities
The European imaging market leader FRAMOS builds a new Campus. The company’s aim is to establish a smart imaging technology hotspot in the town of Čakovec, Croatia, uniting production, engineering and research under one roof.
The new building will enable imaging technology champion FRAMOS to quadruple its production capacity and address the topics of embedded imaging AI within its then-available advanced research laboratories.
The building will be 3,500 square meters big on an aerial of 10,000 square meters. The project, which was launched in 2023, is due to be successfully completed in 2025.
The ambitious project combines several efforts at once: In Čakovec, all employees are to work more closely together in the future in order to be able to produce more efficiently and react more quickly to customer needs and market requirements.
The energy-positive building, which will be built and certified in accordance with DGNB standards, will enable future-oriented, sustainable innovations in the spirit of progress and sustainability. This is done by carbon dioxide-neutral engineering and production.
The good infrastructural framework conditions will enable the company to grow healthily and have a positive impact on the local and national economy. Under these conditions, Smart Imaging will be researched and driven forward in order to provide customers with the best possible conditions for their own successful embedded imaging AI projects.
